DESCRIPTION:This online gathering is a perfect opportunity to knit\, crochet\, embroider\, or do other handwork while chatting with others who are working on their own projects. There will be no instruction\, but we welcome the opportunity to show and share our creations and help each other. New members welcome. Please register online. \nWhat to Expect:   \n\nInformal conversation will be had over Zoom while participants work on their projects. \nParticipants are invited to share their projects\, with the librarian spotlighting their work during the program. \n\nSensory Information:  \n\nThe librarian will start the Zoom program and will let all participants into the Zoom program when their usernames appear in the Zoom waiting room. \nZoom offers functions to organize each particpants' screen in a way that is easy to see. The librarian can help you with this. \nThe sound may be uneven or choppy depending on the strength of anyone's computer connection. \nThe librarian will close the Zoom meeting for everyone when the hour is up. \n\nSensory Supports:  \n\nFidget tools or quiet sensory items are welcome.\nYou are welcome to take breaks or step out if you need to. \nStaff are happy to help with Zoom issues and preferences when possible.

DESCRIPTION:Experience the restorative power of animal and nature therapy through a truly unique outdoor adventure. Our Private Wild Walks are offered seven days a week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm\, inviting you to step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with the natural world. \nNestled at 1\,550 feet above sea level in Middle Grove\, New York\, our small educational farm provides a peaceful setting for year-round exploration. Each experience is thoughtfully designed around your group’s interests\, abilities\, and comfort level. Whether you choose a guided wild walk\, hiking experience\, or seasonal snowshoe adventure\, you may enjoy the company of our friendly herd of goats or opt for a more traditional nature outing. \nYour adventure is led by a licensed New York State hiking guide who will take you through a network of private trails suited to all skill levels and group sizes. Along the way\, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with the land\, learn about the environment\, and enjoy meaningful interaction with our animals. Additional offerings such as outdoor education and yoga elements can also be incorporated to create a fully customized experience. \nWe currently offer private\, guided 90-minute Wild Walk and hiking experiences seven days a week\, with flexible scheduling between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm depending on daylight and weather conditions. Pricing begins at a $150 minimum for up to four participants\, with an additional fee of $35 per person for groups larger than four. Children ages three and under may attend free of charge. \nDue to high demand\, all visits are by reservation only and require advance payment.
